In the dance of love, even the most harmonious tunes can hit a discordant note. 

and then you might say what I am about to say, " Yes that's the broken ring : This marriage will fail anyway!"


So to save your “looking for last minute cure” ass, I am gonna present 22 reasons why marriages might fail in upcoming years and how to keep your relationship intact. ( At the risk of my own parents and relatives disowning me after this haha but it's worth a shot) 



1. Commitment-Phobia: It is one of the leading causes of divorce. Based on research, 73% of couples had cited it as a major factor after an early divorce… funny, isn't it ? 


2. Baseless Arguing : Absence of healthy discussion might degrade the marital foundation. 56% of Indian married couples parted ways because of this reason. I hope you crack this code.



3.  Temptation of Infidelity: We have a habit of running behind two rabbits in the bush instead of the one in hand. LOL

Extramarital affairs shatter trust and contribute to 55% of divorces. 



4. Young and Dumb Marriage: Entering marriage prematurely comes with unforeseen challenges. 46% of Indian divorcees have told this as a reason for divorce. 



5. Prince/Princess Uncharming : When reality doesn't meet expectations, 45% of Indian marriages

quickly falter. “Where are you, my prince /princess” is a scary business boy!!!




6. Post Marital - Imbalance : An imbalance in responsibilities or decision-making in Indian couples leads 44% of couples to divorce in civil courts.. this is getting crazy haha right ?

11. Health Problems: Chronic health issues contribute to 25% of divorces. So pookie lad, time to run and yes where is your  morning apple sweetie…hahaha! 




12. Not So Cool Family: Family interference or lack of support is cited by 20% of divorcing couples. Parivarik locha is pain in the ass right.



13. Sexual Incompatibility: Intimacy issues account for 20% of divorces. This is insane right? Time to learn some position boy haha and pull up your SOCKS! Gooooooooo garl ;)



14. Alpha Male Syndrome: Dominating behaviors can lead to marital discord. Wrong definitions of man and woman might lead to toxic marriages.


15. 6-6-6 Rule Expectations: Unrealistic standards regarding height, income, and appearance can strain relationships. As my dear Sheila says,  Paisa gadi bada ghar, I need someone who can give me all that. HAHAHA



16. Biased Laws: Perceived legal biases can deter individuals from seeking marriage or contribute to its dissolution. I don't have to give examples here. HAHAHA. 


17. Cultural Differences: Opposite beliefs can create conflicts if not respectfully navigated. Opposite attracts but mostly magnets LOL


18. Instagram: Online portrayals and trends can lead to filmy expectations and misunderstandings. Ask me trick to quit it. HAHAHA


19. Work might not only eat you: Relationships take a backseat  due to career demands as the responsibility piles up. This can cause partners to drift apart.


20. Mental Health Issues: We are already struggling with anxiety, PTSD, OCD and depression and what not. Unaddressed psychological problems can strain a marriage.



21. Parenting Disagreements: Conflicting philosophies regarding off springs can lead to significant disputes.


22. Loss of Individual Identity: Losing oneself in the marriage can lead to resentment and a desire for independence.
